While planning Shannon and Catlan’s engagement session, they mentioned envisioning open fields with some lake views. Don’t have to tell me twice. Tell me what you envision for your engagement session and I will find the perfect location even if I have to scour Pinterest or drive around location scouting. I knew right away that Murrell Park was absolutely perfect for their engagement photos. Murrell Park offers a variety of trails, open fields, and sits on the bluffs overlooking the main lake. Those bluff, man. Those bluffs transported me right out of Texas.
Pro tip: definitely watch out for cyclist on the trails because they will run you over. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
During this Murrell Park Engagement Session, I won’t lie, it was windy af. I could tell that Shannon was somewhat concerned about the wind and her hair. Personally, I love wind for a few different reasons. One of which is that it adds natural movement to photos. You see that dress flip? All natural. Similarly, wind typically also means it is cold. All the more reason to cuddle up with your babe. Of course, wind can mess up your hair. However, that is where posing comes into play. I got chu, boo.
