Spring White Rock Lake Engagement Photos
It’s no secret the White Rock Lake is one of Dallas’ most popular location for engagement photos. Honestly, I think one reason is the variety of locations from beautiful open fields, lots of greenery, stunning lake views, and the Dallas skyline in the distance. It also is gorgeous year round.
The reason I personally enjoy photographing engagement sessions at White Rock Lake is there’s always a new location that I can use. During this session, we had to park against a road that I’ve never parked on. While my couple was changing, I noticed a field atop a hill that was beautifully golden with the sun setting directly behind it. Curious on what it the views looked from the hill I wandered around. Holy heavens were the views breathtaking.
However, pro tip, this location gets packed. Highly recommend scheduling your session during the week or sunrise if you don’t want to be around a lot of people. If that’s not an option just be prepared to work around people. If its crowded, it may also not be possible to use a dock.
