m+b advice to wedding planning couples:

Do not stress about the little things when planning, think about what you and your partner really want and focus on that.

Stay in the moment!! Take everything in. Take time to spend time with your partner during the day, even if it’s for 10-15 minutes. Have your bridal assistant, coordinator, etc. set time for you both to be locked away with a cocktail and no interruption.

M’s wedding dress was one of the most unique wedding dresses from Wtoo by Watters I have ever seen. It was covered in the most delicate intricate beading and fit M like a glove. It was absolutely breathtaking. And, such a dream to photograph.

After photographing close to 200 weddings at this point, I’ve photographed a lot of first looks before. However, this was the first time I had ever photographed a first look with the bride and her brothers. It was one of the sweetest first looks. The excitement on her brother’s faces was a moment I’ll cherish forever. I hope my kiddos have that close of a bond when they’re older.

 M+B’s energy throughout the day was contagious. Even when their timeline naturally went off course (happens at every wedding) they just focused on one another, soaking in their wedding day, and having a blast. Honestly, I wish we had more time to light up the dance floor.

I absolutely loved photographing at Green Gables Wedding Estate. It is such a dreamy garden-esque venue in San Diego. It’s such an easy venue to photograph because every nook and cranny is absolutely stunning. Plus, the hanging twinkle lights at the ceremony location are so dreamy. Also, love the color scheme M+B selected to make sure their wedding party popped against all the greenery.
