Buy a planner from Amazon for answers to top questions and recommendations, e.g. I used “The Complete Wedding Planner” by Your Perfect Day
Create a Master Google Spreadsheet and make sure it stays updated! This can be used and shared with all your vendors when they ask for specific answers.
Spend the extra money on a planner. I am a VP of Implementation/Project Management and thought I could do it all. But with the stress of wedding planning, work, and constant hosting, I would of definitely paid the extra money to alleviate the stress.
Whoever is your primary point-of-contact, make sure they are stress free and willing to pitch in! This is someone who doesn’t mind missing parts of the wedding. e.g. mine was my mother (even though she would of loved to see everything – she wasn’t constantly wanting to go party!)
Label everything and/or place a note with what is in the bag/box and make sure that each person is designated to a specific task. Everyone will want to come and ask you questions on your big day while you are trying to relax.
Print out itineraries (photography, day-of, etc.) hand these out at your welcome dinner so everyone knows who is expected where/when. Make sure you have a couple on-hand the day-of wedding as well and provide to someone trustworthy on groom/brides side
Everyone will give you their opinion and advice. Take everything with a grain of salt, but do what makes you happy and don’t stress the small stuff.
