This engagement session was at one of the most enchanting locations I have been to — the majestic Saguaro National Park. With its sprawling landscapes and awe-inspiring cacti forests, this natural wonderland offers the perfect backdrop to capture love story, preserving your timeless romance for generations to come.
Blogging this session makes me truly miss Tucson. If you’ve never been, please go. The food, the scenery, the people are all amazing. Just do yourself a favor and don’t go in the middle of summer. You may hate me afterwards for the recommendation.

Noteworthy Restaurants, Coffeeshops, and Attractions near Saguaro National Park:
- Get breakfast at Bobo’s. Don’t let the exterior or interior fool you. It’s voted best breakfast in Arizona for a reason.
- Get dinner and drinks at Tito & Pep’s. I am still dreaming about this restaurant. It’s absolutely delicious. It lives rent free in my mind. Try the fundido, steak skewers (soooo good!!!!), and the Cactus Cooler or Catalina Sunrise cocktail. Pro-tip: highly recommend having a reservation!
- Get tacos at BOCA by Chef Maria Mazon. As in, Chef Maria from season 18 of Top Chef. These tacos are not your ordinary tacos. I recommend the Dan Gibson and definitely don’t skip the Chips and Salsa flight.
- Grab coffee at Black Crown Coffee Co. or Cartel Roasting Co. If you go to Cartel, try Penelope’s Pizza and let me how know it is! We wanted to go (for obvious reasons) but didn’t have the time.
- Highly recommend walking around the Presidio. It was recommended by our uber driver and we had such a great time looking at all the old historical buildings and reading about the history of Tucson.

Saguaro National Park is located in Tucson, Arizona about 30 minutes from the Tucson International Airport. The park is open year-round, but the best time to visit is during the later winter, spring or fall. Admission to the park is $25 per vehicle.
Pro Tips for Visiting Saguaro National Park
- Choose the right time of year. The best time to have an engagement session at Saguaro National Park is during the late winter, spring or fall. In all honesty, avoid the summer months. The weather is mild during these seasons, and the park is not as crowded.
- Bring water and snacks. It is important to stay hydrated, so be sure to bring plenty of water with you. There also isn’t much around Saguaro National Park so be sure to bring snacks if you’re planning on adventuring.

- Be prepared for crowds. The park can be crowded especially on popular trails and overlooks during sunset.
- Be respectful of the park and leave no trace. Saguaro National Park is a beautiful place, so be sure to respect the park and its resources. Leave nothing but footprints, and take nothing but photos.
