Champagne Wishes & Vineyard Dreams: A Classic & Bubbly Celebration at Dove Ridge Vineyard

There are weddings that are grand and extravagant, and then there are weddings like S+D’s: a celebration that exuded classic elegance, timeless charm, and an infectious dose of bubbly fun. As S herself described it, “Classic, timeless, fun! Low key based a lot of our wedding around champagne (champagne tower, champagne wall, champagne colored bridesmaid dresses, custom champagne bottle) and I feel like it describes us so well. Classy, fun, bubbly, and timeless!”

From the very beginning, it was clear that this wouldn’t be your typical wedding. S+D poured their personalities into every detail, creating a celebration that reflected their love for life, good company, and of course, champagne!

A Day Steeped in Love & Laughter:

The day unfolded with a heartwarming intimacy. Before the ceremony, S surprised her bridesmaids by reading heartfelt letters aloud, a moment filled with laughter and tears that set the tone for the day. As S, radiant in her timeless gown, walked down the aisle towards D, the joy in their eyes was palpable. The ceremony, bathed in the warm glow of the Texas sun, was a beautiful testament to their love.

Champagne Towers & Dance Floor Ragers

But this wasn’t just a day for quiet sentimentality (although there was plenty of that too!). The reception was a vibrant celebration of love and joy. The champagne theme continued to flow through the details, from the towering champagne flutes to the energetic music by The Special Edition Band. The dance floor transformed into a scene straight out of a party movie, with S+D themselves joining in the fun, crowd-surfing and singing along with their guests.

A Moment Suspended in Time

Amidst the celebratory chaos, there was a moment of quiet beauty. Under the veil shot, nestled amongst the vines bathed in the golden hues of sunset, Kyrsten captured a moment of pure intimacy between S+D. Tears welled up in D‘s eyes, and it was a potent reminder of the true essence of the day – the depth of their love.

More Than Just a Celebration, a Core Memory Made:

S+D’s wedding at Dove Ridge Vineyard wasn’t just a party; it was a core memory in the making. It was a celebration of their love, a testament to the importance of family and friends, and a night filled with laughter, champagne, and the unadulterated joy of two souls entwined.

Start early! The earlier you start getting your vendors laid flat, the earlier you can think about what you want and not be rushed. The other piece of that is choose where you want to invest. For me, photos and video were the most important spend for us. You will always have those memories and photos to look back on and you want to make sure you pick the perfect person to capture those moments that you truly trust!

Second, it’s your day. There are A LOT of people involved, but at the end of the day your wedding day is about what you want so don’t let your decisions be swayed because you will be the one suffering if you do.

Last and certainly not the least, a coordinator that you can trust and can do the job. They make or break your wedding and they need to be on top of their game!

Also, enjoy! Even if things go wrong, trust the vendors that you picked and your close family/friends to handle it. This day goes by so quickly and the special moments are something you will look back on forever.

While we all want those traditional family photos, the in between and raw moments were what I wanted the most.
