Traditional Catholic Dallas Wedding

This traditional Catholic Dallas wedding will always hold a special place in my heart.  Nuvia and Andrew are high school sweethearts and got married at St. John Vianney surrounded by loved ones. St. John Vianney is the Catholic wedding across the street from where Nuvia and Andrew’s high school. It is where their relationship started and their foundation was planted. St John Vianney is not only their church–it is their home. The minute Andrew saw Nuvia come through the church doors–all the love he felt for Nuvia showed on his face. If anyone ever looks at you the way Andrew looks at Nuvia, hold them close and never let them go.

Nuvia and Andrew’s traditional Catholic Dallas wedding was not only the union of Andrew and Nuvia. It was a family reunion for most of those in attendance. They had family travel from all over the country and Mexico to watch them exchange their vows in the House of God. Even though, the day was surrounded by love and joy–there were some moments of pure raw tender emotions such as the way Nuvia and Andrew’s parents looked at their children several time throughout their wedding day. Between the way their parent’s admired their children and the way Andrew admires Nuvia, those are the moment’s I live for. This is exactly why I love this career so much. I imagine Andrew and Nuvia’s grandchildren looking through  their wedding portraits and falling more in love with their grandfather by the way he so lovingly looks at Nuvia. I hope he never stops looking at Nuvia the way he did on their wedding day.

The highlight of Nuvia and Andrew’s traditional Catholic wedding:

• hands down dancing with Andrew’s dad not only once but twice.
• The amazing BBQ food from Canyon City BBQ.
• The mariachi serenading Andrew and Nuvia.
• Andrew grinding on Nuvia after chugging the champagne bottle.
