Since living in California, I have become obsessed with Joshua Tree National Park. There is something so unique about Joshua Tree that just pulls you in. I am not sure if its the crazy rock formations perfect for rock climbing, the Joshua Trees ranging in size that only grow in the area, or the golden glow of the desert light. I am going to just say it’s a combination of all three things. It could also be that there is absolutely no cell service and you can unplug for a few hours. Be in the presence of people you vibe with, or love the most, or with your own thoughts to really enjoy this freaking beautiful earth we have.

I was over the moon with excited when Walda reached out telling me about her plan to pop the question to her girlfriend, Karol. I am pretty darn sure I danced around my bedroom squealing with excitement. It is always an honor when someone welcomes you into such an intimate moment. Walda and I planned the most epic Joshua Tree National Park adventure. I showed them my three favorite spots and choose the second location for Walda to propose. Walda and Karol’s Joshua Tree National Park proposal was one for the books. We had perfect weather, it wasn’t that busy, and holy heavens these two were so much fun to be around. I absolutely loved spending time with them!

So what’s the scoop, how did you two meet?

Well, we meet at work. I can say it was all fast since the first day we saw each other we liked each other. Then we started talking and just a couple days passed,  just started going out and after a couple weeks then we made it official to be girlfriends. Now here we are.

So Walda, what do you love most about your lady? What made you fall in love with her?

I am fairly certain that in this exact moment, Karol was not the only one crying. I was squeeling with excitement as my eyes welled with tears! Karol’s reaction was so. darn. sweet!
