It is no secret that I love White Rock Lake for engagement photos. The backdrops White Rock Lake offers is endless from open fields, trees, and lake views. It is also dog friendly for all my dog-parents out there. This was my first time doing a sunrise session, however, at White Rock but it definitely won’t be my last. The sky was this beautiful cotton candy color and you could see the Dallas skyline clearly. It was also less busy than in the afternoon. Plus, it is colder which makes it perfect for cuddling. Honestly, I think sunrise sessions are becoming my favorite lately. There is something incredibly energetic about watching the sun peak over the horizon and breathing in the fresh air first thing in the morning.
