So excited to finally be sharing Keri + Dan’s Lake Tahoe Engagement Session at Soda Springs. Soda Springs is the best place to explore the magic of winter in Tahoe and perfect for winter engagement sessions. It is secluded in the picturesque snow capped mountains.

Before the engagement session, I always send an engagement prep guide. The guide includes all the details on planning the session, the lighting, the location, and most importantly the answer to the question that almost everyone has… what to wear!! The guide covers so much useful information on planning your engagement session, what is going to look the most flattering and what is going to photograph the best. Another part of the engagement prep process is a questionnaire. This allows me to get to know my couples even more and hear their vision for their engagement session. The minute Keri mentioned wanting to do their engagement session someplace with snow — I couldn’t contain my excitement.

Let’s just say that it did not disappoint! Through the shivers, they kept smiling and looked stunning in every photo. Lake Tahoe you’ve stolen my heart. Keri and Dan, I cannot wait for your June wedding at Five Willows!!!!
