It’s no secret that couples love Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano for engagement sessions. Since I have found Arbor Hills Nature Preserve it has become one of my favorite locations. Plus, it is gorgeous year round. Typically, I’m not a huge fan when the trees are bare. However, at Arbor Hills there is enough foliage I don’t mind it!  My absolute favorite time of year for engagement sessions at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is in the Fall, though, when the leaves are changing colors.

Before every engagement session, I send couples a questionnaire that allows me to get to know them just a liiiiiittle bit more. This allows me to think of prompts and poses beforehand that will break the ice, allows couples to feel confident, and will photograph them as naturally as possible. Their response to their ideal date was: “Our favorite thing to do is together is spending time with each other. As simple as that sounds – we truly love being in each others presence. No matter what we do, we always have a great time together!” And, boy they were not lying. The chemistry between Thurman and Maranatha was seriously undeniable and their energy infectious. They were caring and fun. So much fun.  They were down for all my goofy poses and prompts. I may have even squealed one too many times over how excited I was.
