Do hair and makeup trial:
Make sure to give your “planned” hair & makeup ideas a test run before the big day. Many times you’ll find that the shade of lipstick or eyeshadow palette you chose, actually doesn’t go with your skin tones or once it oxidizes it doesn’t look how you imagined it. You don’t want to take up more time fiddling with your makeup on your big day! You want to make sure it’s perfect.
Read your venue contract THOROUGHLY:
Many times, there is that super tiny fine print that totally changes the way you look at the venue. Many venue contracts have very, very specific dates & times that things are due and there is no grace period for those things, so make sure the venue is there to make your day absolutely perfect, rather than just existing to make money off of you.
Hire a wedding coordinator:
If your venue doesn’t already provide one for you, make sure you have someone who’s in charge of all the minor/major details for your big day and who is there to make sure everything goes as planned. Also, make sure they are on the same page as you & understand what other vendors are there for.

Planning Tips:
You cannot control every detail and you’ll be happier if you don’t even try to.
Get used to delegating. More people than you think want to help you, so make some time to come up with a list of things you can assign to others if you don’t have a planner
Day of Tip:
Breathe deep all day!
