It’s couples like E+A that remind me why I love what I do. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t crying while editing this Dallas proposal. I love that I am able to capture these special moments for couples to cherish for generations to come. Capturing wedding proposals is one of my favorite moments to capture — it’s the real reel. There is no posing. There is no prompting. It is just genuine, raw, unaltered emotion. There are so many romantic places around Dallas for wedding proposals, however, sometimes the best proposals happen at places that are special to the two of you.
This Dallas wedding proposal was no different. These two are the sweetest and they have such a genuine love for each other and the people in their lives. E surprised A while on a trip from Boston visiting A’s family in Dallas. She told her that they were going to a party at Laura Rathe Fine Art gallery — something that is not abnormal for E+A. However, E had something completely different planned.
Afterwards, E+A went downstairs, where their families and friends were waiting downstairs to surprise the couple. Being able to capture memories like this is why I truly LOVE this job. I really love love. It was such an intimate get together filled with so much love, support, and happiness for E+A. It is so obvious how much these two are loved and supported.
