s+n advice to wedding planning couples:
If you think you have plenty of time to plan, you don’t. It always ends up taking much longer. Hire a wedding planner for sure. You will regret not doing so. (I totally agree with this!)
Have reception shoes!
Ask about bustle options when dress shopping. I ended up not liking mine and my seamstress said it was the best option for my dress that I chose.
favorite feature of s+n’s classic brunch wedding at The Olana:
Brunch plus Wedding? Yes please. Sign me up. Typically, I get home from weddings anywhere from midnight to 1am. The fact I got home at like 6pm – AMAZING.
S+N had the sweetest first look which gave us so much time to utilize so many different spaces at The Olana. Then, S had the most authentic emotional look when N walked down the aisle. My heart melted.
Flower Boys. Enough said. Ten out of ten recommend. Everyone was cracking up and enjoyed their show.
Lastly, instead of a boutonniere, S and the groomsmen had a flower pocket. Best idea ever. I have a love hate relationship for boutonnieres because they tend to move throughout the day or they just never get pinned right. The pocket square – dummy proof. Also, saves so much time trying to pin ten million boutonnieres.
