When planning K + C’s Austin engagement session, they mentioned that Austin had been so transformational for them. It’s where they came for college, grew up individually, and then grew up some more together transitioning into the working world.
K mentioned wanting to capture the the city skyline as well as our love the nature. One of Austin’s strongest qualities. This led us to Auditorium Shores. Auditorium Shores is perfect for Austin engagement sessions. It’s juxtaposing of a metropolitan aesthetic with the iconic city skyline with an outdoorsy setting with Lady Bird Lake and tree lined pathways.

K + C met in college while working at the on-campus gym together. He started over the summer while she was at home. When she came back for the fall semester so many of her friends were murmuring about a “Cody” guy. Soon after she meet him, she understood what all the commotion was about.
C was charismatic and kind and always at the gym. What started as a friendship for a year and working a shift together one semester, the two finally started dating. C proposed while they were in Colorado with K’s family for summer vacation. Since K + C both love the outdoors and hiking, C decided to pop the question on on a trail waterfall area where her family got to hide in the shrubbery and document the moment!
These two will be saying their “I do’s” at The Arlo in Austin! I seriously cannot wait to see everything they’ve put into making their wedding day a reality. The Arlo is such a stunning venue that’s elegantly designed, bright, refreshingly modern and classic wedding venue nestled between Austin’s city center and Dripping Springs. There’s no doubt it will be spectacular.
