This Arbor Hills Engagement Session was one for the books. Before heading to Arbor Hills for their engagement session we met at Milky Treats and hit it off immediately. Because, what is better than ice cream?! Nothing. If you’re in the DFW area I highly recommend trying Milky Treats next time you’re in the Plano area. You won’t be disappointed. It was the perfect treat before our stroll through Arbor Hills Nature Preserve.

Pro Tips for Arbor Hills Engagement Sessions: First, Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is HUGE and it also gets packed FAST. Highly recommend bringing some comfortable shoes to walk in. Also, be sure to arrive BEFORE Golden Hour to give yourself time to walk to the location desired. This is especially important if you want to hike deep into Arbor Hills. There is a variety of foliage to choose from: open fields, lush trees, and a creek. Also, bug spray is imperative if ya’ll want to get snugly in the fields. The bugs there are NO joke and you will more than likely go home covered in chigger bites. Can’t say I didn’t warn ya. Finally, if you don’t want to work around other potential sessions happening at the same time, I would definitely consider booking during the week (Monday – Thursday). On our way back to our cars, kid you not, we counted at least 15 other sessions happening!
