A ROMANTIC COUPLES SESSION AT STONE CREEK PARK

I will admit I am slowly becoming obsessed with the element of surprise that Texas is throwing my way. Before we moved, I compiled a list of locations I knew I wanted to visit. One of them was Stone Creek Park in Flower Mound. I found it one night scrolling endlessly on the gram and quickly started researching. It was one of the most whimsical locations I had seen and definitely nothing like locations in California. Stone Creek Park is green, surrounded by trees. There is a gorgeous creek with large rocks throughout. What could be better?!

When Hannah reached out in a Dallas Wedding Photographer group looking to swap sessions I knew it was meant to be. Hannah and Josh had just moved to Dallas from Atlanta and celebrating their upcoming one year wedding anniversary. I instantly showed her Stone Creek Park for her session and she totally was on board. Well. Picture this. We show up to a kids playground in a housing community. Sunset is supposed to be in an hour but the sky looks like it is about to down pour. Where is this creek?! Where are the rocks?! My heart almost sank at the thought of doing a session at a random kids playground but HOLLLLLLLY HEAVENS! Stone Creek Park did NOOOOOOT disappoint! Talk about a hidden little gem. I would have never guessed right through a housing development would have been this gorgeous whimsical creek perfect for sessions.

Spending time with another creative, learning more about their story, and Hannah’s passion for photography was the icing on top. We totally bonded and connected over our love of coffee and documenting receptions. We even got to pet a gorgeous Australian Shepherd.  I cannot wait to hang out with Hannah again soon for my upcoming branding session and possibly even at a wedding! Cheers to one year of marriage, Hannah and Josh!
