Tyler and Lauren’s Best Orange County Engagement Photos

Imagine arriving at your Orange County engagement session to find a bright yellow, padlocked gate, with a large sign that reads “CLOSED DUE TO EXTREME MUD“. This is what exactly happened. On the fly, we decided to head to a hiking trail by a local Starbucks. Once we arrived, it was not what we had envisioned for Tyler and Lauren’s Orange County engagement photos. However, how does the saying go? Expect the unexpected? It may not have been what we had originally envisioned but holy heck was it an adventure. Together, we scaled a sketchy hillside creating our own path through the foliage. Tyler and Lauren frolicked down the hill, danced barefoot, and a tear or two may have been shed. I won’t tell you who’s though. Any guesses? Real talk. If you find someone who looks at you the way Tyler looks at Lauren–LOCK THEM DOWN.

Lauren and I connected last year thanks to one of my great friends from High School, Nicole. I went to High School with Lauren and Tyler at Claremont High, yet, our paths never crossed until now. Lauren and I instantly connected over our love for good food, adventures, and photography. I cannot wait for Lauren and Tyler’s October wedding at McCormick Ranch. Their wedding will be filled with gorgeous details, high energy, and epic food.

Shout out to one of the best flower designers out there, Desert Bloom Floral Designs, for spoiling Lauren with a gorgeous bouquet. Planning an engagement session and want more high-end and editorial photos? Planning for just one extra styled item can be a fun way to make your session more unique from a floral bouquet to your fiance’s classic car. Fresh flowers bring an extra “wow” factor to just about everything, especially when they’re attached to something else, like a bicycle basket, tree swing, tent, picnic basket, balloons or car bumper.
