SAGE AND COLE’S BEST IN-HOME COUPLES PHOTOS

Do you ever meet someone and think the stars just aligned perfectly? That’s exactly what happened for Sage and Cole. Cole was living in Fort Worth, TX at the time and Sage in Brea, CA. Cole came to visit Sage and the rest is history. Sage and Cole are in the process of moving out of their first apartment into a larger space for their dog, Oakley. So, we decided it was the perfect time to commemorate their time spent at their apartment by an in-home couples session. Lemme tell ya, it was a good time. We blasted some music, had a dance party in their empty kitchen, cuddled, and Cole even attempted to serenade Sage.

Afterwards, we decided to take a break across the street at a local brewery. Absolutely, no regrets. We sat there over a cold beer and chatted about Sage’s new wedding coordination business and life. We talked about my children, Cole living in Fort Worth, and the wedding industry. I highly recommend if there is time the day of the session or even while planning the session, sit down with your clients. Get to know them. It has made such a huge impact on how I connect with my clients and how comfortable they are with me and the camera.

Next, we headed up to their apartment parking lot to watch the sky catch fire. Personally, I have wanted to do a romantic rooftop session for awhile now. I love all the night lights in the background. Plus, I wanted to challenge myself on shooting in less than stellar conditions. This craft is all about learning. Lemme tell ya, it did not disappoint. Favorite part other than Cole and Sage’s steamy romance is definitely the snow capped mountains in the distant background.
