JOHN AND DANIELLE’S BEST EL MATADOR STATE BEACH MATERNITY PHOTOS

I. Am. Obsessed. With. El Matador Beach! OBSESSED! It was totally worth the 4 hour drive from Temecula! Thank you LA traffic. Insert largest eye roll ever. El Matador State Beach is filled with so much beauty. It is probably one of my favorite Los Angeles beaches for photos! The light in Malibu is so gorgeous and dreamy. There is not a bad spot at El Matador State Beach in Malibu. The whole beach is filled with beauty. If you have a chance to go, do not stop at the first set of stairs. Go explore the coast. You can thank me later with coffee.

However, El Matador Beach comes with some minor hiccups. It is like the holy grail of beaches for photography in the Los Angeles area. You may not believe me but there was probably a dozen plus photoshoots happening at the same time as Danielle and John’s PLUS packed with beach goers. Luckily, there’s more than enough gorgeous areas to go around. I was so excited when Danielle wanted to do her maternity session here, as it’s a beach that I really love. I was excited to be able to go back before the final transition to moving to Dallas. It was even better when Danielle mentioned they weren’t afraid of going in the water, getting adventurous, and down for whatever I had in mind!  I mean, what is better than that?! I wish that you could have seen Danielle climb the rocks like a complete BOSS!!
