MY VOWS TO KAP COUPLES
The purpose of a wedding is to celebrate the marriage between two individuals joining together. One of the most important part of a wedding ceremony is the vows. Vows spoken between the couple to proclaim their love and commitment to one another. These vows are before God and their witness(es). Personally, it is the sole purpose and the most important parts of a wedding.
On your wedding day, you make promises to each other, you vow to love each other, cherish each other, support each other.
Well, as your wedding photographer, here are my vows to you.
I vow to go above and beyond for you and serve you to the best of my ability. I vow that I will serve you, not only on your wedding day, but throughout the entire process. I am there from booking, planning your engagement session, to timeline creation. Whether I need to hold your veil, stand on a chair to get the best photos, or double check wrists to ensure all hair ties are removed–I’ll do it. Never been to your venue? No problem. I will either arrive early to scout or schedule a venue tour ahead of time! Want to go off site for your romantics? Let me help you find the perfect location near your venue. I promise–I got you!
I vow to treat your loved ones with as much love and respect I would want my own to be cared for. My promise to you is to treat your guest with pure love and kindness. Before each wedding, I send a questionnaire to get to know more about your wedding guests and any important people. As someone who holds family near and dear, I know just how important these photos mean to not only you but them as well.
I vow that your photographs will show the authentic moments of love and happiness that you experience on your wedding day. Your wedding will be full of big moments but I promise to capture the small moments also. The subtle expressions of intimacy and commitment. I vow to freeze reactions and moments often missed whether it’s a quick loving glance at your partner, a kiss on the shoulder, or a sharing a laugh with one another.
I vow that I will be prepared. Is it supposed to rain? I will have a plan. I will be prepared with not just my camera gear but with extra Kleenex to wipe the tears, snacks to curb the hunger, and water to quench your thirst. Because let’s be honest, there is no doubt that I will be crying alongside your loved ones during dances (especially during “Butterfly Kisses”), speeches, and first looks.
I vow to spend so much time to get to know you as individuals and a couple so that the day of we feel like old friends. My promise to my wedding couples is to make the space to create the portraits of your dreams while keeping your portraits as relaxed and fun as possible. Because, I know just how important it is to be present on your wedding day.
I vow to protect your legacy. I understand these photographs you’ll cherish for years to come and show your kids and future grand kids one day. Your legacy is not something I take lightly.
I vow to join you in celebrating your marriage. We will talk like old friends and laugh at ourselves. We will have fun. I promise that you will more than likely find me on the dance floor dancing the night away with you.
This is my promise to you.
