TEMECULA ANNIVERSARY PHOTOS
ROBERT AND MELISSA’S BEST TEMECULA ANNIVERSARY PHOTOS
One of the favorite parts about this career is the relationships I am able to create. Meet Melissa and Robert. Melissa and I connected through Instagram late last year when Robert was deployed. I was over the moon with excitement when she booked a couples session when Robert came home for their Christmas cards. Since then, Melissa and I have stayed in contact. I was over the moon when Melissa reached out to plan a dark and moody wedding anniversary session. I cannot wait to continue to document them throughout the years even if that means I am getting on a plane to where ever they’re stationed!!!! They’re stuck with me for life.
My intention going into Melissa and Robert’s anniversary session was to create the space for them to reconnect. A space for them to block out the everyday stressors and routines. To be playful. To be intimate. Because I knew that in their first year of marriage they not only went through a deployment. But, deal with crazy, unpredictable work schedules on the daily. And the cherry on top, they’re now planning a cross country move later this year.
However, to be honest, this is my intention going into ANY couples session whether it’s an engagement, anniversary, or just because. Life is hard. Relationships take work. Planning a wedding is stressful. Oftentimes, we get lost in the day to day, we forget to stop and have a quiet moment with our partner. Trust me. I get it wholeheartedly. This is why I tell couples don’t stop taking photos with one another after you get married. Have an anniversary session to commemorate the year to 25 years you’ve spent together because YOU DESERVE IT!
