favorite feature of i+g’s historic Riverside Courthouse elopement:

I can’t think of another couple who deserves to be celebrated more than I+G. Weeks before their original wedding in 2019 at Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town the world shut down. After several reschedules and countless other failed plans, I+G decided the best decision for them was to exchange vows in front of their closest family and friends at the Historic Riverside Courthouse. It couldn’t have been any more perfect. They waited three years for this day. It was such a surreal moment finally celebrating them.

Driving to the Riverside Courthouse, the sky turned black. It was the windiest day I have ever seen in Riverside. I remember thinking “dear God please let I+G get the day they’ve waited so long for”. As soon as I pulled up to the courthouse, I looked up and all you saw was a circle of dark clouds surrounding us. We were in the very middle of the circle and while the sky wasn’t bright blue….we weren’t being dumped on. That’s a win win in my book. Seconds after we left the courthouse, it started downpouring!

The way G looked at I when he first saw her. I’ve never seen a groom so excited to see his bride before. I remember at one point jokingly saying “If my groom doesn’t look at me like that when I get married….I’m walking out until he does”. There is no doubt how much I+G love one another.

The amount of trust I+G had in me as their wedding photographer. You may not believe me but half of their romantics were taken in front of the Riverside County Coroner’s Office. I’m sure they thought I was a bit crazy in the moment. However, I+G trusted me and my vision. In return, I produced some incredible images for them because I was so inspired. Don’t believe me?
