As a destination wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of visiting some of the most breathtaking backdrops. One such enchanting location is Sapphire Point Overlook in Dillon, CO, a hidden gem nestled amidst the stunning vistas of the Breckenridge area. Caroline + Charles decided to do their engagement session at Sapphire Point Overlook to incorporate their love for Colorado and hiking since they were getting married in Texas.

Sapphire Point Overlook offers breathtaking scenery for engagement sessions with its panoramic vistas and expanse view of Lake Dillon. In the winter, its covered with snow and in the spring beautiful wildflowers. If you’re planning on doing your engagement photos at Sapphire Point Overlook embrace the mountains. Plan accordingly including layers, sunscreen, and sturdy shoes. It’s also a popular location to watch the sunset so be prepared to arrive early for parking.
