A Pastel Fairytale Wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms

In the heart of Denton County, lies The Nest at Ruth Farms, a classic white barn and chapel wedding venue. This past summer, I had the privilege of capturing one of the most intentional weddings I have had the pleasure of capturing. From the very first stolen glance between them to the tearful embraces shared with family, their day was a testament to the transformative power of love. This wedding was a tapestry of romance, sentimentality, and intentional love.

 The Pastel Palette

Forget the stark whites and sterile minimalism. The air was adorned with the sweet fragrance of all the blooms, as the venue transformed into a romantic garden oasis. Brooke + Christopher’s wedding was a symphony of soft, pastel florals in shades of lavender, blush, and peach intertwined with delicate greenery. This created a fairytale atmosphere that felt both whimsical and oh-so-elegant. Every corner became a canvas of color. And, my favorite feature the light blue signage, made by the groom himself, that guided guests through the venue, which added a touch of playful charm.

As their photographer, I felt privileged to capture not just the beauty of the setting and the elegance of the day, but the essence of their love. It was in the quiet moments, the stolen glances, and the unbridled joy that their story truly came alive. My aim throughout their day was to be able to transport them back to the warmth of their love, and the love that surrounded them on their wedding day (and everyday).

From the moment you laid eyes on Brooke, radiant in her flowy gown, you knew this was a wedding where love took center stage. Her bouquet mirrored the joy that danced in her eyes as she met Christopher’s gaze during their first look. The bride and groom, crazy in love, radiated a contagious joy that translated beautifully into their wedding photos. Every glance, every touch, and every shared smile told a story of a love that was pure, authentic, and wild.
